A very versatile size for everyday use, especially for a small home or apartment.  Usually 9"-13" wide, 11"-14" long, and 3/4"-1" thick.  Great for prepping sandwiches or small meals, and a nice presentation of assorted hors d'oeurves for that fancy evening cocktail party - or tailgate.
